Calvary Christian School

Calvary Bible Christian School changes its name to Calvary Christian School.  The change was made to reflect the full spectrum of education offered at the school.

First Annual "Hearts & Hands Auction and Gala" is held at the Rancho Mirage Ritz Carlton (now know as The Lodge in Rancho Mirage).  The event proudly featured Tristan Rogers and Huell Howser as their Celebrity Hosts. Tristan Rogers is well known for his role as 'Robert Scorpio' on the daytime drama 'General Hospital'. Huell Howser is the host of several PBS shows. These include 'California's Gold', 'California's Green', and 'Road Trip.'

Second Annual "Hearts & Hands Auction and Gala" is held at the Renaissance Esmeralda in Indian Wells.  Actor Kirk Cameron is the Celebrity Host.  Kirk starred in the TV series 'Growing Pains', and continues his acting career by playing 'Buck Williams' in the movie adapted from the 'Left Behind' book series.

Celebrity chairwoman Hunter Tylo from Daytime Drama "The Bold and The Beautiful" hosted the Fourth Annual "Hearts & Hands Auction and Gala" again held at the Renaissance Esmeralda in Indian Wells. Other notable guests included Tristan Rogers and local dignitaries.
